Was watching one of my iTunes regulars Warehouse 13 (Season 2, Episode Vendetta) pre-dawn and spotted my Belkin Skype Phone in one of the scenes with an obvious fake screen.

For those of you who are fans of Entourage and XBOX, I am sure you saw Turtle using his Kinect in the latest episode of Entourage.  For those who missed it Engadget posted a snap of the video yesterday.  I still think the show should be an hour long!

Netflix (in Windows Media Center and XBOX 360) is a major core to our digital lifestyle, but Redbox has turned out to be a bit of a convenience point for impulse rentals.  Netflix doesn’t have an official iPhone app yet (coming to WP7 though) but Redbox does.  Here is a cool infographic comparing the two today.

There’s nothing like a big cook out for a send off.  Since we are heading up to Chicago this week the family had a big cookout for a send off.  Burgers, Brauts and a few Beers while the kids and cousins got to hang out before the big trip.

John Chambers feels the New Meadowlands Stadium is the most advanced in the US with a total fiber and IP based network.  Cisco and Verizon put together most of the infrastructure and blanketed it with WiFi and 3G for stadium specific experiences.  C|Net put together a good article on it.

In case you didn’t know, the latest version of Windows Live Messenger (beta) allows you to chat with your Facebook friends.  The  version is part of the total Windows Live Essentials BETA.  I rarely chat on Facebook, but now its become a lot easier to connect more regulalry.  Maybe that’s a MS swipe at FB just like they took a swipe a 4SQ!

I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) since its first BETA.  Version 1.0 was just certified as seen on this article on Neowin.  One of the best things about MSE outside its performance and tight Windows integration is it is FREE!  We are testing MSE 2.0 BETA now and it has worked great thus far!

West Ham player Daniel Gabbidon was seen participating in a demo of Xbox Kinect.  I don’t think they briefed him too well as he kept referring to his computer and not XBOX (or console).

One of the classic games we cut our teeth on during the early .com days was Age of Empires.  We played LAN wars in the office all the time and each of us played our own campaings.  Well, in light of all the social games online (which I have not participated in) Age of Empires is making the jump with Ages of Empires Online so this could be an interesting time for the guys to re-engage in battle!

Congrats to Shelby Rogers who won the USTA 18′s and earned a Wild Card into the US Open.  Since turning pro, Shelby has worked hard and been travelling a lot on the circuit working on her game.  I know everyone is excited to see her make her major debut this fall.
