HP Violating Trade Sanctions for 10+ Years!

Wednesday, 31 December 2008 06:08 by midosm.com

I have become a big fan of HP over the last few years.  I like their MCE, WHS and TouchSmart solutions.  However, I find this a bit out of bounds: HP has been selling printers in Iran for ten plus years via Dubai.  I remember a guy, who most will remember, getting prosecuted and thus renouncing his citizenship to reside in Switzerland for doing the same thing with Oil with Iran and Iraq (although Clinton pardoned him end of term).  Think Uncle Sam will get after them?  One to watch for sure!

Charlestonian Shepard Fairey created his own cult wave with the Andre the Giant has a Posse stickers back in the day with roots from the early days of Skateboarding.  His Obama poster has again catapulted him into the cult status on of the modern era.  Rock on Shepard!

The New US?

Monday, 29 December 2008 16:19 by midosm.com

An interesting article by a former KGB analyst about his scenario of a new US.  A bit of  a stretch, but stranger things have happened!
