Was watching one of my iTunes regulars Warehouse 13 (Season 2, Episode Vendetta) pre-dawn and spotted my Belkin Skype Phone in one of the scenes with an obvious fake screen.

Turtle Kinects!
turtle

For those of you who are fans of Entourage and XBOX, I am sure you saw Turtle using his Kinect in the latest episode of Entourage.  For those who missed it Engadget posted a snap of the video yesterday.  I still think the show should be an hour long!

Netflix vs Redbox
NetflixvRedbox

Netflix (in Windows Media Center and XBOX 360) is a major core to our digital lifestyle, but Redbox has turned out to be a bit of a convenience point for impulse rentals.  Netflix doesn’t have an official iPhone app yet (coming to WP7 though) but Redbox does.  Here is a cool infographic comparing the two today. Windows Live Messenger + Facebook!
WLM

In case you didn’t know, the latest version of Windows Live Messenger (beta) allows you to chat with your Facebook friends.  The  version is part of the total Windows Live Essentials BETA.  I rarely chat on Facebook, but now its become a lot easier to connect more regulalry.  Maybe that’s a MS swipe at FB just like they took a [...]

Microsoft Security Essential Gets Certified
MSE1

I have been using Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) since its first BETA.  Version 1.0 was just certified as seen on this article on Neowin.  One of the best things about MSE outside its performance and tight Windows integration is it is FREE!  We are testing MSE 2.0 BETA now and it has worked great thus far!

EPL Players Demo Kinect
WHKinect

West Ham player Daniel Gabbidon was seen participating in a demo of Xbox Kinect.  I don’t think they briefed him too well as he kept referring to his computer and not XBOX (or console).

Microsoft Ecosystem Invasion?
msecosystm

I have felt over the last few years Microsoft has not leveraged its solutions to the best of its ability.  However today I saw something that about knocked me off the couch.  Not only is MS failing to leverage its solutions, but now its letting competitors into its ecosystem.  It’s one thing to create an Office version for Apple, it’s [...]

HP dv7 Fingerprint Reader
dv7fr

Traveling on long trips and working can be tedious.  I traded off a lighter pack for the HP dv7 with a larger screen, keyboard, fingerprint reader and beats audio system.  I must say the fingerprint reader is massively convenient.

My Next Windows Phone?
WP7

This could possibly be my next Windows Phone.  It is taughted to be a ‘Day One’ Windows Phone 7 release called the HTC Schubert (probably a code name at least I hope).  It will be a tough change from the QWERTY keyboard of my Samsung Jack, but the iPhone I have been using as the private line is helping the [...]

As Predicted: The KIN is Dead!
kin

As predicted in my April 15, 2010 post, the Microsoft KIN has died an epic failure!  There is speculation that only 400 units sold in the USA!  Engadget as confirmed the demise of KIN and its $400M budget (that’s $1M per KIN)!  I never found the value in the device as it was way too narrow of a space and [...]
