Texas Native Jane Slater Hired as New Longhorn Network Reporter

Starting Monday, Sept. 22, Rowlett, Texas native Jane Slater is joining Longhorn Network as a studio host and reporter. Along with reporting for LHN games and Texas GameDay, Slater will also host Longhorn Extra, and work on feature stories for various LHN programming. “Jane’s sports and television expertise really stood out as we went through the interview and audition process,” said LHN coordinating producer Tom McCollum. “We are excited to have her on the LHN team and expect she will make an immediate impact to our coverage.” Slater has accumulated an impressive resume of reporting experience since graduating from the University of Texas with dual degrees in journalism and government. …
