There’s nothing like a big cook out for a send off.  Since we are heading up to Chicago this week the family had a big cookout for a send off.  Burgers, Brauts and a few Beers while the kids and cousins got to hang out before the big trip.

Happy 4th of July to everyone and especially those who have served this country in any capacity.  In the land of opportunity, someone who spends part or all of their life in the service of our coutry deserves the appreciation.  Everyone else enjoy the day.

  I hope everyone had a great Cinqo de Mayo!  We had some great enchiladas, but I didn’t get around to making the queso unfortunately.
